Services

  • Individual Therapy

I provide 50-minute (‘one-hour’) therapy sessions in-person or via teletherapy using a secure audio/video connection. We will spend the first few sessions doing a thorough assessment to identify symptoms, barriers, and goals in treatment. It is important for us to understand factors that shape who you are and how you view yourself/others.

Session frequency usually begins with one-hour, weekly sessions in order to build a foundation and develop a treatment plan. I have a flexible schedule to accommodate reoccurring slots or scheduling week-to-week depending on your availability.

Teletherapy has expanded my ability to practice out-of-state, contingent on interstate laws. I am a licensed Psychologist in California (https://www.psychology.ca.gov), and registered as a Telehealth Psychologist in Florida (https://flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/).

  • Community-Based Therapy

I provide individual sessions in the community. These sessions are outside of the office setting and designed to address specific goals. Although teletherapy is an option and can mitigate many barriers in accessing services, you may find community-based therapy an enriching opportunity to transfer into “real life” experiences.

Community-based therapy is unique in treatment and approach. It is important to uphold ethical and safety standards in various settings. Factors such as confidentiality and boundary setting may look different outside of the typical office space. This is something we can further discuss during our initial phone consultation.
